I arrived in the U.S. from Thailand at 5, only knowing two words: yes & no.
As a rowdy kid, I broke my wrist. While healing, my parents kept me home while they ran their mini-mart (typical Asian business). My English improved because TV became my babysitter/teacher - my favorite shows were The Bionic Woman, Charlie’s Angels, and Wonder Woman!
Today, with the hubby’s support, I write the stories floating around in my head featuring strong women.
